Louis Lescure is a rider, works for a roller association in Paris and likes to travel to Hawaii, where he's got friends and activities. This is how Louis lives his hawaian slow life, according host and partner Roxzi Bokolas.
"From wine and baguettes to guava juice and coconut trees, 20-year-old Louis Lescure embarked on a journey of a lifetime. With his camera and roller blades in hand, Louis left the narrows streets of Paris and ventured off to the north shore of Oahu, Hawaii. Upon arrival, as usual we greeted Louis in hawaiian style with a flower Lei.
Since this was his second time in Hawaii, we knew that he would easily integrate himself with the locals. Something which proved true because by the end of his trip the locals thought he lived there.
Even though he's been to America before it never gets old seeing his amazement of the big trucks – driven by small girls:) –, the wide roads and occasionally a family of boars running wild. If one thing is for sure it's that Louis became well accustomed to hawaii time. Which is basically anytime. Paris is definitely more fast paced, people are trying to get from point A to point B as quickly as they can. Yet in hawaii, you are on your own time, and go at the pace you desire, something that Louis was able to master. So until next time our hawaiian is training." - Roxzi
