Sound, fury & customization

Artist Éric Liot has been at work since 1990. An old-timer, as they say! His style kept evolving throughout the years, and so did his pieces - into sculptures.

Large, wooden sculptures, consisting in chunks and bits, odds and ends tied, nailed and screwed together, resulting in forms and life. To be found: canvases, but also vanities, characters, familiar companions we’ve gone as far as growing up with. All somewhat reminiscent of the works of Icelandic painter Erró, although to an extent - pop culture being the highlight here.

Lots going on for Éric as of late, including a massive piece destined to the hard rock festival, Hellfest; and a (thick) review, all about his work.
